I have used Carrie McCormick for both the buy/sale of multiple homes. Carrie is excellent for a myriad of reasons. First, she knows her business inside and out and provides market analysis, trends, data, and details that allow us to make informed decisions from the outset. Second, she is incredibly responsive. When we were looking to purchase a home, I was astonished at how many times another agent would not return a call or get back to us on a showing request. In contrast, Carrie always made herself or one of her team members available on a moments notice to show our home or to take us to visit a property. I hate to say it but I think Carrie works 24/7. I dont think Ive ever sent her a text where she did not immediately respond. Third, Carrie goes above and beyond. Two of our deals almost fell through. Carrie single-handled managed to save the deals and allow us to buy/sell both properties. She is able to build relationships with all parties involved -- buyers, sellers, mortgage brokers, inspectors, lawyers. She stays on top of everything and always offers great advice to her clients. As a lawyer who has practiced for 30 years in private and corporate practice, I see how effective her leadership, communication and negotiation skills are. Real estate brokers can get a bad wrap but Carrie is a consummate professional. It is not surprising she has grown her business to be one of the most sought after brokers in the city and suburbs in Chicagoland area. What is surprising is how she manages to make each client feel like they are her sole priority. I cannot recommend Carrie and her team more highly. She is the best. In interest of full disclosure, Carrie and I have developed a deep friendship over the many years I have known her. But regardless of our friendship, I would never mix business/friendship unless I knew of the quality of her work. After all our purchases/sales of multiple properties, I can credibly speak to how excellent a service she provides.
