There is just no denying Carries success as a realtor! We first met her after she helped our friends purchase a second home, and she then led us through the harrowing processes of buying and then selling our very first home. I am continually impressed with her enthusiasm to share her deep knowledge of the Pioneer Valley, as well as her long-term willingness to connect us with trusted and reliable professionals (roofers, electricians, plumbers, etc.). Just this week, 6 months AFTER she sold our house, Carrie spent her time doing research to help us find a new realtor (in a geographic location outside of where she operates) and her own money mailing us something large that had accidentally been sent to our old house. If she makes buying and selling houses look like a piece of cake, then Carries demeanor is certainly the icing, because she has ALWAYS been a real delight to work with.

Carrie recently helped us sell our home. While we have bought and sold a small number of houses over the years, there are always details that are forgotten or procedures that have changed. This is where having a knowledgeable and hard-working agent comes in - and Carrie was that agent. Always available by phone or text, and very responsive, Carrie was there to solve problems or take care of the next little, or big, detail. We cannot recommend Carrie Duda highly enough. She is an extraordinary realtor with a lot of experience, superior knowledge of the area, and- most importantly- she is a very nice person. She is on top of everything, very timely with communication, and patient with her buyers. She took a good deal of time to get to know us and our needs- as well as our hopes- before we began the search. We were first time home buyers despite the fact that we are in our 60s, looking for a home in the lower end of the market during a sellers market, and feared we would not be able to find anything that we liked in our price range. Carrie was totally reassuring, giving us confidence that we could find the right home, and we definitely did! She is so knowledgeable, very competently held our hands through all of our questions, and she taught us a lot about what to look for in a home. She was also very patient in explaining to us differences in purchasing a home in a rural area versus the semi-urban area we were moving from. Wells and propane tanks were a new thing for us! Possibly most important of all- her clear goal was to help us find the right house for us, not the first house that might fit our criteria. As it happened, we lucked on absolutely the perfect house for us after seeing less than 10 houses, but we did not feel hurried at all. If we had needed to see 50 or 100 houses Carrie would have been just as patient.The house we purchased is a 140 year old farmhouse with a number of systems that need some updating. Carrie is so embedded in the community- and is so highly regarded in that community- that she was able to suggest contractors who might be best for our needs and budget. When they arrived to talk with us about the repairs it was clear that each one of them has the same respect for Carrie that we do now. She's not interested in just selling property. She's invested in helping her clients find the home that will be exactly right for them, and a happy place to live. She certainly helped us find our perfect home.We will not hesitate to recommend Carrie to anyone looking for a realtor- either a buyer or a seller. Carrie is simply awesome.
