Carol Parker

I pride myself on "listening" to my buyers and finding them "exactly" what they want. I am a lifelong equestrian with strong ties to the hunter-jumper world so I am uniquely qualified to help locate equestrian properties that meet my clients' needs and desires I strive to make the buying and selling experience enjoyable and successful for my clients! A lifelong resident of Long Island, New York, Carol Parker moved to Polk County, North Carolina in 2014. She was a hunter-jumper trainer for the previous 11 years prior to moving. Carol's students successfully competed at horse shows throughout the Northeast from Florida to Vermont.She also worked for many years in public relations for not-for-profit agencies producing brochures, newsletters, press releases and handling media relations. Prior to that, Carol was a reporter and assistant to the editor for a weekly newspaper. Carol has been involved in volunteer and civic activities throughout her life including leading the effort to build a new library in her hometown of Cold Spring Harbor and working in animal rescue.She received the New York State Liberty Award for Selfless and Courageous Service for helping animals following the Hurricane Katrina disaster in Louisiana.She served on the board of directors of the Cold Spring Harbor Library and Residents for the Children, as well as founding a chapter of the United States Pony Club. Carol made a career change upon moving to North Carolina. She obtained her real estate license and worked as a broker for another leading real estate company. Carol also offers boarding for retired show horses at her horse farm. Carol believes her background in public relations, her familiarity with the local real estate market and her in-depth knowledge of the equestrian community will be very beneficial in her position as an inside sales broker with Premier Sotheby's International Realty.
