It is our pleasure to write the highest recommendation for Carey Frankel. We relocated to Jacksonville from Massachusetts. Not being familiar with the area, we were initially drawn to Frankel Reality because the website sorts homes by the various towns/areas/subdivisions (which are all so uniquely different!) We found this particularly helpful to get a sense of Jacksonvilles different areas, especially when we were still looking from out of state.As we begun our in-person search for our home, Carey offered guidance, expertise and patience throughout the process. Carey knows Jacksonville incredibly well, and as homebuyers unfamiliar with Jacksonville we were exploring both St. Johns and Duval Counties (and both sides of the river). Carey always had time for us, was knowledgeable about the various neighborhoods we searched, and offered insight on home structure-- helping us to key into pros and cons of a home/neighborhood. Carey never pushed us to make a decision and ultimately found us our ideal home! We know that we made the most educated decision because of the time spent working with Carey. As a follow up to my review last year: After a wonderful experience with Carey finding our forever home in Ponte Vedra last year, we invited my parents from upstate NY to stay for a few months over the winter in our new house! It went so well, that we decided to look into the possibility of buying a home with an in-law apartment and have them relocate to be with us permanently. Naturally our first call was to Carey, who again found us the PERFECT home for our new situation - a Lennar Genesis bonus. When he took us to see it we all fell in love, but the trouble was that we hadnt even listed our house yet, never mind have a contract for a contingency. Now we really got to see what a Pro like Carey can do when you need it most. First, he negotiated a great contract for us on the Genesis home, which allowed us secure it while we listed and sold ours. Then he listed our house, came over, helped us set it up, gave us pointers on showing, took incredible pictures, and got the house under contract in 2 weeks! Needless to say, having bought the house less than a year ago, we didnt have much room to negotiate on price, but Carey pulled out all the stops, getting visibility more places than I could have imagined and found the right buyer - fast!! - so we could move forward on the new place. It didnt end there though... as anyone who has gone through a aEURoecontingency saleaEUR? knows, there are endless inspections, hurdles, contracts, amendments, post occupancy agreements etc etc. It seemed like every day something came up to threaten the very precarious set of deals that were all hinged on each other, but Carey calmly handled each with careful consideration, along with thoughtful insight and suggestions. I cannot imagine navigating that whole thing without his experience and temperament. Take it from me, after two different transactions in a year with Carey, I can confidently say that if you need to buy or sell a home hes great, but if you need to buy AND sell a home, then Carey is the ONLY choice if you need it to be successful. Today my parents live with my husband and I, with their grandchildren just through a door separating the main house from the in-law apartment. It seems like a lifetime ago that they were 1200 miles away seeing the kids only once a year. You couldnt write a better story, and it wouldnt have happened without Carey!

My husband and I recently purchased our new home using Frankel Realty Group and Carey Frankel as our realtor. We are EXTREMELY picky - firing 3 buying agents when we purchased our first home because they weren't showing us what we wanted to see... so we were leery about finding another buying agent to purchase our new home. He was referred to us by a friend and we couldn't be happier we were so lucky to get in touch with him.Carey is instantly responsive any time of day. Not overly chatty, he is thoughtful and one of the most unassuming, intelligent, and professional people we have had the pleasure of working with. Never once did he put pressure on us or ask us to sign any kind of contract with him. He showed us the properties we wanted to see and instantly reached out to any selling agents/sellers with questions we had. He knows the market - which was big for us as we were moving from Tampa and didnt know much about Jacksonville. He told us which were the good and less good neighborhoods and what we were getting a good deal on - all extremely important things when purchasing a home. He coordinated everything so we didnt have to lift a finger and made himself available for any and all appointments we needed. When we asked his professional opinion, he gave it, but otherwise did not push his ideas on us or rush us in any way. He did, however, help us brainstorm as we had a unique situation with building and in-law suite for which we were quite thankful. Once we closed on the home, he continued to stay in touch with us, helping us source contracting vendors for our home and regularly checks in to see if we need anything.
