Your Neighborhood Realtor Born and raised in the Florida Keys, I am considered a Florida native. Being a Florida native has given me the unique experience and knowledge to understand what people want out of their Florida living experience. Growing up I was introduced to Real estate very early as my family owned and operated many rental properties. I was able to participate in many remodels, rental transactions and sales involving the rental business which helped develop my knowledge and interest in real estate. I knew that sales and marketing would be in my future so after graduating from Valencia College I pursued an advertising and marketing degree from the University of Central Florida. I have now been a resident of Brevard County for a decade and I feel very comfortable with my knowledge of the area. I reside here with my husband and two boys and we enjoy the benefits of living close to the beach, space center, Disney world and everything else that Brevard County has to offer. Family is very important and had a huge impact on our decision to live in Brevard County. There is a lot of community involvement in the area with many wonderful churches, parks and civic organizations ... Brevard county has that "small town" feel with big city amenities. I have brought all of these skills and experience and implemented them into my real estate business to provide the best marketing plans for my customers. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Your home buying journey can be stressful! To help alleviate some of that stress I suggest that you make sure you have a good relationship with a lender and have a pre approval before you start looking seriously. This will help save a lot of time!
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
My best advice for sellers is make sure that you have gone thru your home and corrected all of the delayed maintenance items. When a buyer comes in they want to feel that they can just turn the key and start fresh.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
In the last 10 years I have worked with all different kind of buyers, sellers, renters and investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Recently a friend referred their mother to me to help sell their home and purchase a new home! This was such a wonderful transaction ... the sale received a full price offer with in 3 days of being on the market and closed with out a hitch! They were able to purchase their little beach cottage with out too much trouble and now they are very happy!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started in Real estate when the market was down and there was a lot of REO's or foreclosures on the market. I moved to Brevard county from the Fl Keys to open a satellite brokerage for a broker from the keys to expand her REO business! This gave me a indepth lesson a real estate in a down turned market and helped me get familiar with the area and the market it self!
