About Caitlin Cole

Growing up in the beautiful state of Vermont, my love for the mountains started at a young age. I was lucky enough to have extended family in the Truckee-Tahoe area which prompted many family vacations out west. It was on these trips that I was first exposed to the beauty of the Sierras. While completing my degree at the University of Vermont, I worked at a non-profit and gained significant customer service, excelling in a role working directly with people. Following my undergraduate degree and these years in customer service, I moved to Truckee and started a career in the tech space working with property data. This experience lent me a unique understanding of property valuations, market trends and transactions both locally and nationwide. This background, paired with my desire to return to client-facing work, launched my real estate career. I am proud to be working for Carr Long, a firm that is locally owned and to be working amongst colleagues who have a high level of professionalism and knowledge! I've now lived in the Truckee area for almost a decade, and the beauty of the area continues to amaze me. In my free time, you can find me enjoying a day of backcountry skiing, summiting peaks in the Tahoe basin, and fly fishing along the Truckee River with my fiance. My passion for working with people and my knowledge of property data provides my clients with a high level of service. Caitlin assisted us in a huge way getting our property "ready" PRIOR to sell once we found our new house. Examples of this: Pest/mold inspections prior to market, HQ photos and drone photos, Staging of furniture. (They moved in and out furniture she felt would enhance a faster sale), sensitive to our buying schedule, and highlighting small repairs to facilitate a faster close. Additionally, Tree culling in the High Sierra to mitigate fire danger. She sold our house that we built in 1994 in Truckee,CA.in one day!

Caitlin was very professional in helping us sell a family lot in Truckee. We had a previous real estate professional and knew we needed someone more invested in wanting to sell our property. Did some research and lucky for us we connected with Caitlin. Although selling property can take time to get the right price, Caitlin was with us all the way. She was VERY responsive and knew the area and market very well. She even addressed a neighbor who was trying to sabotage sales. She was a 100% dedicated even though we lived out of the area and had to communicate on phone/ email. She is always available for any questions or concerns before, during and after the sale of the property.

Caitlin was seriously the BEST! I cant say it enough, she was so so patient with us. And the knowledge she has of the area is just astounding. The other thing was she was so honest, it made us feel so nice to know that she really cared about us finding our forever home. There are not enough thank yous to go around.
