1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Know before you go! Make sure to get pre-qualified with a lender before you start looking at houses. Secondly, trust your real estate agent. Make sure you are comfortable with what they are telling you because your time is valuable and it can be frustrating to work with someone if you, as the consumer don't trust your agent.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
List the home correctly, it's a disservice to the seller if the home isn't listed properly and stays on the market for more days then necessary. Make sure your home is tidy. It's hard for people see past the clutter and that could be reflected in offers. If you have pets make sure they are put away during showings and open houses as some people might not want pet out while viewing the property, also for legality purposes. Depersonalize your home. Make sure you remove family photos, awards and trophies. By removing personal artifacts this allows potential buyers to see the home as one they could see themselves living in.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with an array of clients. I have worked with first-time home buyers, saavy real estate investors and I have worked with home sellers.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Worked with a gentleman that was relocating from Tennessee and didn't want to rent. He made it clear that he didn't have a lot of time to commit to seeing properties and he needed to find something soon as his new position was starting within weeks. I was able to narrow his location focus and get him under contract with a week of meeting him. The gentleman made the process seamless by communicating his needs up front and this allowed me execute efficiently with the time frame given. Closed his deal in 20 days!
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started real estate by first interning at a firm where I was able to understand the contract and receive guidance from a broker that had 25+ years of experience. I have since taken the information and grown my business as a single agent.
