I have been surrounded by real estate my whole life . It is not only a career for me, but it is also my hobby. I graduated on May 5, 2018 magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a bachelors degree in finance and a specialization in real estate. I obtained my real estate license in September of 2018. While attending the University of Alabama, I was president of Culverhouse Real Estate Club. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Interest rates are so low. You want to take advantage of this before it is too late. Also there are many financing programs available, so many people can buy homes that believe they cannot. Some individuals qualify for 100% financing programs, let me set you up with a good lender today to see where you are.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
There are currently high amounts of buyers with low inventory in the housing market. This is due to the low interest rates we are experiencing. Now is the time to sell! Being with Weichert, we are highly invested in online marketing. Find an agent that will do the open houses for you, and that has the technology to market your listing correctly. I always hire a professional photographer to ensure my listings give the best presentation to online audience. Online presence is everything in today's market. Home values are up by approximately 10% with the current high demand. Let's sell your home today so you can get top dollar for your property.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
I enjoy working with both buyers and sellers. Waterfront living is my bread and butter. I also love working with first time home buyers, as well as investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
It’s hard to say because I seem to form great relationships with all of my clients. One transaction I am very fond of was the listing I had where 4 agents had it before me about a year ago. I had the property listed for less that 3 month and I was also dual agent on the transaction. The message I want to tell you all is just because you could not sell your home with another realtor does not mean that I cannot sell your property.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I grew up around real estate my whole life. My family owns the brokerage I am with. My family is involved in real estate development as well as owning rentals. I not only know what it is like to work with buyers and sellers, I also know what it is like to own property myself. I planned to be a dentist originally in college and changed to be a finance major specializing in real estate after my first semester. I was president of the real estate club at the University of Alabama my senior year. I got my real estate license in Louisiana shortly after graduating college and here I am.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I specialized in real estate in college, I completed a real estate appraisal course, a real estate finance course, and a real estate law course. I am also working towards my CCIM designation.
