About Brian Eastman

I am a life-long resident of the Erie area. Born in the city, raised in Summit, graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High in Waterford and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice that has never really been put to its intended use from Edinboro University. Yes, it's true that I've never lived outside of the area. Why not? To be perfectly honest, I love Erie for several reasons. It's very affordable, there are plenty of things to do for adults as well as children, there are genuinely good people who love to help others, we're only a couple hours away from visiting larger cities, we experience all four seasons, and all my stuff is here and I really hate moving. I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, my Beagle, and two misbehaving cats. I'm a big baseball, football, and casual hockey fan. I stay active by going to the gym and forcing my 40 something year old back and knees onto softball fields for a few leagues every summer. I've also volunteered time to coach in local youth baseball and basketball leagues. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I spent several years working at a children's mental health treatment facility in direct residential care and then as a case manager in a school delinquency prevention program. I honed my salesperson skills convincing teenagers with behavioral and social issues to wake up early, eat properly, respect one another, go to school, and be in bed with lights out at 9pm. Not always successfully, but I did learn what works, what doesn't and that I must to be adaptable to each situation. I have been a full-time Realtor since 2005. I really enjoy being a Realtor and it shows in my work and how I approach it. No matter what I'm doing, I want to make it as fun and enjoyable as I can. It is possible to be a professional and have a good sense of humor at the same time! I will make jokes, tell good life and real estate stories, and hopefully leave you feeling a little more educated and feeling good about your experience working with me. I always consider the future when advising my clients and I want to help you make smart decisions so you'll think of me when the next move comes along or when family, a friend, or a co-worker are looking for someone to help them. I met Brian at an open house 9 years ago. I was looking to buy my first home. I did not have a realtor yet. After meeting and talking to Brian I immediately felt at ease. He was very knowledgeable. I therefore chose him to be my realtor. I couldnt have made a better choice! Brian was extremely patient with me as I had no idea what I wanted. After about a year and really getting to know me he found my new home. I then had need of him again in 2021 to sell my mothers house. He was just as great the second time around. He helped determine what needed done to the house to get a maximum profit. He was very helpful in this realm as well. Again, and patient. But when all was said and done We got $10,000 over asking price. If the need arises I know who my person is. I wouldnt dream of going with any one else. I highly recommend Brians expertise.

Brian was an amazing realtor to work with. He began assisting us while we were still overseas, with an impending move to Erie, PA. Throughout our home buying experience, he always responded to us quickly, (even with the time difference from Europe) and was extremely helpful orienting us to the area, in terms of what neighborhoods might work best for us, since we were completely unfamiliar with Erie. Even before we arrived in Erie, he took videos of homes we were interested in and sent them to us, and also met with our adult children from Pittsburgh, who drove up for a weekend to look at homes in person for us. Transitioning back from overseas was stressful in itself, and combined with looking for a home during Covid and with the crazy housing market this past year, it was quite a challenging time for my husband and I. We really appreciated having Brians advice and support throughout this process. When we finally found our home, and there was a last-minute glitch which could have soured the deal, Brian jumped in with a plan to solve the problem equitably. Brian has continued to respond readily, even after moving into our home, when we have questions or need advice regarding services in the area. He continues to be our phone-a-friend for all things Erie! Thanks Brian! If we ever leave Erie and need to sell our home, he will be the first person we call.

Brian was amazing working with us in 2021 as you know the market is nuts. Sold our home in 24hrs and was very accommodating when we wanted to see a home and was able to get us in right away. He answered our texts or emails quickly. Once we found the home we just bought in October the process of closing was a breeze. Thanks Brian we love our new home!
