About Brenda McKinley

Brenda McKinley exudes integrity, hard work, energy and enthusiasm in each and every real estate transaction. While her children were young, Brenda honed her sales and customer service skills by running a successful online and home party business while mentoring women in the community to run their own successful at-home businesses. Brenda later ventured into teaching, subbing for a year, followed by teaching full-day to 21 eager Kindergarten students. After personally experiencing an unpleasant real estate transaction, Brenda decided, "I can do that WAY better!" and dove into studying for her real estate license with gusto and determination. Brenda and her family relocated to the Spokane Valley from Alaska. She continues her love for lake life and adventure along with her husband, Rick. Brenda and Rick recently celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. You will often find them enjoying our great outdoors, camping, hiking, boating, swimming, etc. They just love this area and are happy to be a part of it. They have 2 boys, both grown. The oldest, Chander, is married and lives in Alaska. The youngest, Braden, lives in Spokane and was recently married. Brenda's strong Christian faith guides her daily in her family life, friendships and business relationships. Joining the Windermere team has enabled Brenda to work for a company that shares similar values, with a heart for people and community being at the core. A portion of every Windermere transaction is donated to the Windermere Foundation, which helps thousands of families during their time of need. First off I want to thank Brenda for everything she did for us during our year and a half house search, we lived five hours away from Spokane so Brenda did a lot of video shoots for us along with setting up viewings. Brenda was an incredible during our home buying process. We had to do a lot of coordination remotely as we were purchasing a home while living in Kentucky and Brenda was extremely accommodating with her long distance communication and her willingness and flexibility to work on east coast time and on weekends when I was able to fly in and look at houses. It was especially nice when she let me carpool during a rare Spokane blizzard! At the end of the day Brenda helped us get the house we really wanted and kept the stress levels down, even during some solid negotiating. Highly recommend this agent!
