Brenda helped us through a really difficult sale! We were selling our home in GR to move to Norton Shores. We had found an amazing new house in Norton Shores and Brenda showed it to us and worked with us from there.Even though we are in a seller's market and nothing major was wrong with our GR house, despite over many showings we were having a harder time selling the GR house (through no fault of Brenda's!) Brenda worked hard to make sure our house was well-marketed to appear on top of email blasts, marketed on FB Marketplace, and did other internal marketing to other realtors. We got a LOT of foot-traffic via showings due to the good marketing of it.We were anxious to sell out GR house as fast as we could since we were pending on the Norton Shores one despite our GR home not immediately getting offers like we all expected going into it all. We were worried about losing the bid on the new house, but Brenda was able to negotiate with sellers, agent, etc to make sure we got our new house!!!! Amazing. Throughout it all, Brenda was very communicative and made us laugh here and there to help ease the stresses of buying and selling a home. We tried to not be a pain for her either but our house sale situation seemed pretty unusual/stress-inducing for the "seller's market" we're in, for anyone! It could have simply come down to the GR house's location. I'm glad a pro like Brenda was on our side though and she worked SO hard to make this all happen and have a good outcome for everyone. Long story short, Brenda was great and WE GOT OUR NEW HOME!!!!
She always looked for house that fit our needs. She also made sure it was always in our price range. She got us in to the perfect home. She also made sure she keep updating us when ever things where being done on the house. She even help us with our Leander.
Brenda knows what she is doing and gets the job done. She is familiar with the lakeshore market and is straightforward in everything. We appreciated her expertise and work ethic. We highly recommend you meet with her to discuss buying or selling your home.

STOP AND READ!!!Brenda Harris is 6/5 stars!That being said if you need a Real Estate Professional on your side stop reading reviews wondering who might be the right fit for you. By the time you have read this and possibly one other review and just called Brenda you would already have decided you want her working for you! And that is exactly what she does any time of morning or evening she does not miss a beat. No matter the time of day.-My Personal Experience-Brenda was referred to me as a buyers agent as this would be my first time owning a home as a single male with no dependents. And for about two years the hunt for the perfect home for me has going on. This may be longer than normal to be looking for a home but this is due to how particular I was on the criteria for the home and the more that it met the criteria the better. And this was as follows.-Home -Fairly Sized- (1000 sq/ft-1600 sq/ft living area) 100% livable as is with excellent "bones" as you might say.-Garage/Pole Barn -Minimum fair sized- Had to have sizable working space not just for parking. My preference was anything 24x30 or larger.-Land (This was tricky as my minimum was 4-ish acres and larger with no cap, but the lower the acreage I preferred it to be next to state land for hunting).-Price Point. This was part was a "double edged sword". As obviously the more of the previous criteria that was met or exceeded this obviously grew higher. And in 2019 being a first time home buyer looking at prices would give you heartburn. Most sellers are wanting tip top dollar for whatever they are selling and would not move on needed repairs or price at all.However when this home came onto the market it fit the bill about perfectly with the only sticking point being it was at the upper end of my price range. After Brenda's strong suggestion of not trying to negotiate the price down much if it is truly the one I want to purchase. She strongly recommended getting an idea of what it would cost to build a similar sized home, build a similar sized pole barn, and an expert suggestion of what current similar property costs in the immediate area and surrounding areas. After I asked around on the going rate per sq/ft of building a home and to rough in a similar sized pole barn and added in the low end of property value for this size lot she had opened my eyes to the reality. The home was in fact priced to sell and I then realized we needed to act fast if we didn't want to lose out on this home. After we had purchase agreement signed and all the appraisals and inspections were happening we had a "wording error on one report" It was nothing major but to get the underwriter to understand what was really being said on the report. At this point I didn't know if we were going to be able to close on time and I don't know how Brenda was able to contact and get the report worded correctly over the holiday is beyond me, but regardless of the time she made it happen.If you are looking to buy or sell a home and are trying to find an ethical expert Real Estate Professional to work on your side and offer probably the best advice you could find you need to give Brenda Harris a call immediately. For my future real estate endeavors Brenda Harris WILL BE the only agent I will trust for advice and can count on for things to get done.
Five stars for Brenda! From start to finish, she made everything so smooth because of her expertise. Ive moved around a few times and Brenda is by far the best agent I have ever worked with. What sets her apart is her communication, knowledge of real estate and she is so personable. You can tell that this just isnt a job for Brenda, this is her passion. Thank you for helping us!
Brenda is amazing! She exceeded our expectations at every turn throughout the process of listing and selling our home! She definitely went above and beyond to help us get the sale closed. She was very patient with us and our timelines through the whole process and made sure we understood ahead of time exactly what would happen and then kept us updated and understanding every step of the way. If I ever need a realtor again I will ONLY call Brenda!
Brenda Harris is the best real estate agent we've ever had to sell our home--and over the last thirty years we've moved around a lot. She was very helpful in the sale by keeping in regular contact with us, informing us of the best way to prepare the house for sale, and arraigning the most convenient way to bring the sale to its conclusion. I heartily recommend her.
Very nice and knowledgeable in her field. Great person to work with. I sold my house much more than I thought it would sell for. I would list or buy a house with Brenda again.
