Bjorn did an excellent job representing us with the sale of our Aptos home. We engaged him very early in the process and he provided us invaluable tips to insure our home was ready to list and maximize the market value. He did this through the following techniques. First, he was a good listener, he really wanted to understand why we wanted to sell our home and got to know our family and home history. Second, he developed a strong marketing campaign. He had excellent ideas on how to bring the value out, including staging ideas, marketing brochures, video tips, ideas on fixing up the property, all great suggestions to insure that home was ready to list. Third, he had a great plan on when to put the home on the market to insure we had good timing. Finally, his negotiation skills were excellent, although the market ultimately determined the final price of the home, he ensured our expectations were aligned with reality and strove to achieve a good value on our selling price to insure we were satisfied. Not only was he responsive, but his entire team was behind his every move to insure we were well supported with every action required to sell our home. Ive dealt with multiple real estate firms and agents over the years, but I have to say that this experience was by far my best ever. They took it to the next level and exceeded our expectations for the whole process from start to finish. Excellent job !!

Bjorn was our agent on a 2nd home purchase on the Aptos area. Bjorn did an outstanding job through out the process. Bjorn?s key strengths include (1) extremely responsive to text emails (2) very good knowledge of the Santa Cruz market (3) knows how to listen and provide thoughtful input eg alternative houses, areas (4) good negotiator - some small suggestions on the offer helped us close our deal against three other bidders (5) was supported by a good back office team who were very coordinated. Bjorn helped my wife and I find the perfect starter home in the ridiculous real estate market of Santa Cruz. We started as dreamers with Bjorn, and then a few months later ended up being first time home owners! We did NOT expect to buy a home this quickly-- to be honest we are still in a bit of shock that we did! Bjorn was wonderful at listening to the various anxieties that bubbled up as we waded through the process of purchasing a home, all while we chased after our toddler on showings, and during phone calls. He always took the time to listen to what we really wanted and needed, and clarify any questions, however big or small we had about the very overwhelming process of purchasing a home. Bjorn made sure to follow up with us and remind us of things we needed to do to close, paperwork we needed to submit, etc. That was very helpful as we both work full time and needed those reminders. Bjorn is very responsive via text and phone (even when he went off on vacation he checked in with us!) He also helped us get established with a very helpful lender, home inspection service, and was able to help us get any extra help we need. Bjorn offered to show us properties multiple times to help us make up our mind, and was super patient throughout the process as we teetered back and forth about what we wanted, and where we wanted to be. Choose this guy! He will listen to you, laugh with you, and put your family first to find the perfect nest.
