Hello, I am Billie Jo Hurd, and I am originally from the Phoenix area having grown up in the beautiful town of Gilbert. When I was younger, I moved to Florida to attend college. While there I met my better half, who was in the Navy at the time. Little did I know I would get to move a lot. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to move to Hawaii. It was no fun watching all my belongings being hauled away in a semi- truck and trailer and eventually going on a shipping container (what if it falls off the ship?). While being in the military family, I learned so many valuable lessons on what people go through when they move away from family and friends to start all over in an unfamiliar place. I learned all the ups and downs of moving an entire household and family. The importance of getting children into school, new jobs, what the community is about, what opportunities there are for the family. I belong to a large network relocation real estate company which allows me to continue helping buyers and sellers make the move easier when they move across the street or across the world.
