1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
First get prequalified with a lender to see what your buying power affords you.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Declutter your home and touch up items to make your home as presentable as possible and allow access at short notice to be able to get as many people into your home as possible. The more people who see your home the best chance a home owner has to get the highest price possible.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
From first time home buyers with limited credit to folks who have cash to buy homes and close escrow quickly. All receive a 5 Star service.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Folks I met walking in Pacific Grove, CA who were looking at a for sale sign that I asked if they were interest in the price of the home. They were but the home was in escrow. They had just started to think about purchasing a home in Pacific Grove to have available when they decided to retire in a year or so. Over the next few months there were several homes that were of interest and one they wanted to write an offer on. That home didn't seem to check off all their requirements so I advised them to wait for their dream home. They agreed and found one several months later that checked all their boxes. They closed escrow and couldn't be happier. I didn't rush them and they were grateful. Great clients who I hope to have a lasting relationship with.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was encouraged by a friend to get my license while I was self employed as an aerial photographer. I agreed and have not looked back over the past 20 years. It has been so rewarding to help my clients with their real estate needs.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Studied Landscape Architecture in college which has helped me identify plants and suggest landscape changes. I have also managed over 5 total remodels on homes that has always netted my clients a profit when they sold. I have a solid understanding of all systems in a home from roofs to septic systems and everything in between which helps to educate my clients on items they do not understand.
