About Benjamin Willig

Ben has a decade of experience in Real Estate to including being Anchor's Top Agent/Team over the past 8 years and now oversees sales for over 80+ agents in Anchor while still overseeing his team. Ben graduated from Trinity College (Hartford) with a degree in Economics with Pi Gamma Nu Honor Society and 4 Straight years on the Dean's List. His prior work experience includes working for Credit Suisse executing Global Corporate Real Estate transactions in Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Dubai and Korea managing over $3 Billion of expenses and over 1300 employee's for the international Bank. Ben has since come to Anchor Associates where he has been able to apply his problem solving experience by creating a clear approach to the apartment process for his consumers in the New York City Real Estate market. At Credit Suisse Ben had directly attributed savings for the Bank in excess of $50 million. Long hours and attention to detail in the Corporate and Commercial Real Estate industry are the transferable skills which have been brought over to help provide his clients with a worry free service knowing their best interests with saving money are always at the forefront of his expertise. Customer satisfaction, professionalism and integrity have always been Ben's highest core values. Since Joining Anchor Associates in early 2009 Ben has received countless feedback from satisfied clients who appreciate his hands on approach toward helping them find an apartment. This has allowed him and his team to be able to help more than 1000 clients find a home in Manhattan, while receiving many accolades within the company. As a first-time home buyer, Adam was a godsend. Buying real estate in New York is complicated, and this being my first major financial purchase, I was nervous and apprehensive about the process. With Adam's assistance, my worries were unfounded. Adam quickly demonstrated his knowledge and familiarity with upper Manhattan. After a few discussions, Adam had a very good idea as to the kind of home I thought I wanted and he showed us many potential listings. But it turns out Adam knew better than I did as to what I was looking for. He showed me a listing for an apartment that did not meet all my requirements, and I decided to give it a chance. As soon as I stepped inside, I fell in love with the place, and the rest is history.The service Adam provided was outstanding. He guided me step-by-step through the application process (which was extensive), and he was incredibly responsive to any questions I had through either e-mail or phone. He was meticulous with follow-up, but not overly so as he knew I worked a demanding job. He even took the time to sit down with me to prepare for my board interview. Through his network of contacts, Adam was able to provide me with referrals for everything I needed. Throughout it all, Adam worked tirelessly to make sure our end of the deal went smoothly. He was endlessly patient and provided reassurance when needed, especially when the process stalled due to COVID-19. I highly recommend Adam without hesitation.

Valerie has been my broker the last 3 times I have moved. I have loved every place Ive lived and highly recommend working with her. Valerie has a wide knowledge of NYC and is tremendously patient. Adam spent 2 years with me looking for the best 2BR deal in Hamilton Heights and I am forever grateful to him for his perseverance, astute attention to detail, and in-depth knowledge of the Harlem market and the HDC and HDFC process. When I first spoke to him on the phone about an HDFC listing, I trusted immediately - he knew the ins and outs of that building - and after speaking with him, it was clear that he took no shortcuts into understanding what it takes to purchase the right home. (Note, I later stopped looking at HDFC's....) Adam is fair, kind, and carries a robust history of the Hamilton Heights area, which really made me fall in love with this part of the city. I have met so many rental and sales brokers since I've lived in New York and almost all of them have just wasted my time. Then I met Adam.I have been blown away by his dedication, honesty and passion for what he does. He has gone above and beyond what I ever expected of a broker. His knowledge of neighborhoods, properties and the real estate market in general is second to none, he will be completely honest with you about all aspects of the buying or rental process, he will be patient with you as you decide what to do and never put any pressure on you and you can rest assured he has your best interests at heart.
