About Benjamin Myers

2023 President Washington-Beaufort County Board of Realtors - Drawing from a rich family legacy deeply embedded in real estate, I take immense pride in serving as a third-generation Realtor. From my grandfather's real estate company in Falls Church, VA to my parent's company in Smith Mountain Lake, VA, I was destined to be a Realtor. Homeschooling in high school provided me with an early introduction to the world of real estate, and at the age of 18, I earned my Virginia real estate license. I ventured into the resort market at Smith Mountain Lake, VA, where I honed my skills and passion for the industry. In 2013, my strong family connections prompted a move to Wilmington, North Carolina. There, I joined Laney Rentals, eventually becoming the Property Manager and Broker-in-charge at Laney Real Estate Company. Over four years in property management, I gained valuable insights into the ever-evolving real estate market. During this time, I assisted property owners in maximizing their investments while guiding new home buyers through informed purchases. In 2017, my journey led me and my wife to "Little" Washington, where I brought my accumulated real estate expertise. Presently rooted in New Bern, NC, with my wife, Emily, our son, Lucas, and our cherished dog, Oakley, I consider this vibrant community my home. Throughout my career, I've built lasting connections, garnered diverse experiences, and assisted more individuals than I could have envisioned.     I have to say I am completely disappointed in him. He left Coldwell Realty and didnt have the decency to let me know. Thank goodness good realtors like Rachel Fitzsimmons we sold the house. He had absolutely nothing to do with it. No respect for him at all and this company. I would never recommend. I cant even believe you asked knowing he had nothing to do with the sale of the property.

    Ben helped us first rent our condo and manage the rental and then sell it. He was thoroughly professional, on top on everything and brought us both qualified renters and buyer.We sold during the Stay at Home so could not clear out the condo as we normally would have. Ben pitched right in, sold/donated the contents for us and even made sure the condo was cleaned for the new buyers.We would highly recommend you hire Ben as your agent.

    We were moving from western New York State so Ben had to take on many tasks, finding us the experts we needed during due diligence, working as a go-between with the lawyer, dealing with several requests from both parties with all the paperwork involved.
