My mom lived in Florida, I'm in California. Mom passed in November and we were faced with the dilemma of selling Mom's house from across the country. Prior to selling the house we had to clear it of its belongings and get it ready to sell. We called several property management companies trying to find someone to care for the house prior to its sale. At the same time we were looking for a realtor. We found Belinda on a For Sale Sign four houses down from Mom's house.When we spoke to Belinda she said she could care for the house until we were ready to sell. Not only was she willing to do weekly house checks that we wanted, she was doing it free of charge so she could list the house when we were ready to sell. Every week Belinda stopped by the house to make sure all was in order and there were no areas of concern. She did a quick video through the house and sent it to us so we'd have extra peace of mind. Belinda recommended a few measures to keep the house such as turning the water/water heater off and checking the mail for us. She saw a broken sprinkler and worn fence posts - both of which she facilitated the repair of. She also recommended that the roof be replaced prior to the sale. She had the roof evaluated and suggested we file a hail damage claim that would help with the roof replacement costs. Belinda took care of the house for us for 5 months. In April, prior to us returning to the house, Belinda turned the hot water heater back on for us. Unfortunately an electrical issue surfaced that made the hot water heater impossible to turn back on. Belinda had this fixed prior to our arrival so we would be comfortable upon our return. She has a vast network of contacts who are ready to work with her.Belinda listed the home for us mid April. With only one day to work with Belinda staged the home beautifully and made a video that made us say wow at how nice the house looked. We received multiple offers, over asking price, on the first night the house was listed. Belinda helped us work through the offers, explaining the pros/cons of each. Through the next month she continued to provide us service that was above and beyond while we were in California.Belinda is a true professional. Not only is she a very kind person, she is trustworthy and her follow through is impeccable. She was a true partner to us during our lengthy transaction. We would highly recommend Belinda to anyone.
