Barbara Swindlehurst has her pulse on the Pagosa markets. We tried other realtors who put us on the back shelf because we had a small lot in Chris Mt. II with a small listing price and not much commission. We switched to Barbara and had an entirely new experience. Barbara reliably returns emails and calls. She ACTIVELY solicited buyers for our lot. She even met with the planning staff from the County and PAWS to determine timeframes for sewer, water, and electric buildout for our lot so as to help properly value it. She even spoke with a contractor to offer us an option for building on the vacant lot. It took a while to sell our lot, but I can honestly say Barbara hustled for us and kept us informed about how it was going the entire time, even though she didnt stand to make much of a commission en the end. Barbara is a top notch realtor!

Barbara stepped up and found the home I was looking for. I had a long list of criteria and over time she located just the right listing. She assisted me with what price to offer based on her knowledge of comparable homes, got the contract approved by the Seller in short order, provided me with a calendar of deadlines, reminded me of steps I needed to do, negotiated a list of tasks the Seller needed to accomplish before closing and the transaction took place on time. She listens, shes organized, she knows the processes and timelines, she responds quickly to queries, she acts on behalf of her clients and shes smart and fun.
