I'm passionate about more than just finding you the perfect home. I love mentoring young girls, supporting elderly residents, and working on affordable housing projects. Giving back to the community is a big part of who I am, and it drives me to help build stronger, more connected neighborhoods.

Hobbies/Interest

Outside of real estate, you can find me diving into a good romantic novel--yes, I admit it's a bit corny, but I'm a sucker for a great love story. I'm also a fan of 80s and 90s TV shows, with The Golden Girls holding a special place in my heart. Historic home conservation is another passion of mine; there's something magical about preserving the charm of the past. And when it comes to unwinding, I'm a foodie who loves savoring delicious meals and a perfectly crafted cocktail.

I live in Durham, NC with my husband and four sons, and I embrace the role of the only lady in the house! Having recently relocated to North Carolina, I understand the importance of a seamless transition and work hard to ensure a stress-free experience for my clients.

Buying a home? Think of it as dating—it’s all about finding “the one.” Start by knowing what you truly want (and what you can live without). Do your homework, get pre-approved so you’re not just window shopping, and remember, the perfect house might not have a “For Sale” sign on it yet. Be patient, trust your gut, and don’t be afraid to make an offer. And hey, if you need a bit of hand-holding through the process, that’s what I’m here for!

2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Selling your home? Think of it as putting on your best outfit—clean, stage, and price it right to make a standout impression. I’m here to help make sure your home’s charm shines and you get the best deal!

3) What types of clients have you worked with?

I’ve had the pleasure of working with all kinds of clients—whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, a seller taking that big step, someone looking to upgrade, or planning for retirement. Each journey is unique, and I’m here to make the process smooth and enjoyable for everyone.

4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

One memorable transaction involved a bit of a hiccup: a missing apostrophe in a name caused a delay in closing. It was a complex situation, but thanks to my clients’ patience and persistence, we navigated the issue and finally closed the deal. Despite the extra time and effort, my clients were thrilled with the outcome and the service they received. It’s these challenges that make successful closings even more rewarding!

5) How did you get started in Real Estate?

My journey into real estate started when I was a young girl. My mom used to take me to new construction homes as she and my dad dreamed about their future place, and I remember being totally captivated by the process. When I left college, I knew biology wasn’t for me. Then, one day, while flipping through the apartment and home magazines that used to be everywhere at gas stations (yes, I’m dating myself a bit here!), it hit me—real estate was my calling! The idea of working traditional hours and touring beautiful homes and apartments sounded perfect. Although now I know, the hours are not traditional, but the thrill of finding and selling homes is just as exciting as ever. It’s a career that combines my childhood wonder with my adult passion, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
