April Martin

April grew up in the small town of Brenham, TX which is about an hour away from Houston. Once she graduated from Brenham High School, she moved to San Marcos, TX to attend Southwest Texas University which is now known as Texas State University. While attending school, she was hired to be an apartment manager at Post Oak Villas. This job helped her realize her passion for helping people find a place to live. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration focusing on Finance, she began her venture into real estate. Once she earned her real estate license, she found her home at Capitol Area Realty in Austin. Their family environment along with good, honest people was the perfect fit. Roger and April were married in 2005. Shortly after that, they were ready to start a family and felt New Braunfels would be a great area to raise their family. April tried out a couple of local brokerages but neither seemed to be the right fit so she decided it was time to start her own family company. In 2009, Guadalupe River Realty was established. April has sold real estate all over central TX including Austin, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Lakeway, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Spicewood, Lago Vista, Kyle, Buda, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Leander, Cedar Park, Hutto, Elgin, Manor, Bastrop, Lockhart, Spring Branch, Marion, Sequin, Cibolo, San Antonio, Schertz and Brenham. Her hard work and determination makes her one of the best in the industry. April and her husband have 4 children; Ethan, Taylor, Dillan and Cooper. The Martins enjoy the outdoors. They love to take the boat to Canyon Lake to watch the kids surf, wakeboard, kneeboard and tube. They also love camping in their RV and plan to cover as much of the U.S. as they can. Ethan enjoys football and baseball. Taylor loves to dance and Dillan is the gymnast. Cooper is a wild man of all trades and keeps everyone on their toes. In their free time, April and Roger can be found rooting for the Bobcats at the TX States home games.
