We happened to get in touch with Anton when we were looking to acquire our first home in the Bay Area. Having Anton as our buying agent was the best thing that happened with our home purchase experience. He was meticulous in elaborating the entire buying process and having us prepared with the mortgage process, property evaluation essentials, offer writing techniques and negotiation terms. He understood our family, our needs, likes/dislikes and lifestyle to give his insights on the properties we toured, the areas we would avoid, the red flags on which we should back off. All of it helped us immensely in making the buying decision. Be it the floor plan, property disclosures, neighborhood and surroundings, scope for expansion/improvement, we found his thoughts on every property we toured to be honest. Most important to us, he let us consider all aspects that meet our preference and lifestyle before making the buying decision without falling into buying pressure. He always insisted we buy a property that we would love to live in without regrets and never influenced us to bias our decision. Another key highlight was Antons contacts in all areas - mortgage, network of agents, contractors. He would often get us secondary inputs from his contacts for any additional informations we needed before writing an offer. I must applaud his socializing skills. I would summarize the buying experience into three areas. Finding the right home, making a winning offer and getting the best value for your money in the entire process. Anton emphasized on the first two and not as much on the cost aspect. I wouldnt harp on this as he offered real value in the other aspects of the buying process. He wasn't as engaged with negotiating a better rate with the lender he is partnered with. We would also have appreciated if he offered a closing credit. Anton always mentioned that his association with us does not end with the buying process but he would be there for us beyond as well. As first time home buyers we had several questions and scenarios where we needed help with, even after we moved in and Anton has been approachable with his experience based inputs. He has also been helping us with our remodeling idea in finding the right contractor and finalizing the plan. Most importantly he has been a friend to our family for years to come.
