About Anthony McDonnell

Real Estate is the only career I have ever had. Since 18, I've been licensed and selling real estate. I began my time as a REALTOR(R) on a top producing team to hone my skills in customer service, marketing, and sales. In 2014, I graduated from Worcester State University, as President of my class, and began as a full-time REALTOR(R). As a resident of Foxboro for most of my life, I have a great understanding of the local communities and what they each have to offer. In March of 2021, I joined BHHS Evolution Properties in Wrentham to further my ability to better serve my clients. My special area of focus is with first time buyers and sellers, as well as in new construction. These three areas require patience, knowledge, and guidance as a REALTOR(R). What drew me into real estate was the ability to educate young professionals on how to build wealth and help them achieve the American Dream. I will be the first to admit that we were the worst possible buyers to represent in the market of 2023. We had an FHA loan, 3.5% down, couldnt and wouldnt waive inspections, did not own a mattress with a giant wad of cash to go $100K+ over asking, a highly focused geographic area of three possible towns, a narrow window to close, and gold taste with a bronze budget. We also had to sell a house with no equity and the closings had to be arranged *just right*. Impossible challenge? Nightmare waiting to happen? Maybe to some. But to Tony, it was a thrilling puzzle to solve and my oh my, did he ever solve it. Our very first offer on a house listed off-market as a FSBO was accepted. It ended up falling through on the sellers end but throughout the whole process Tony was communicative, responsive, informed us of the potential problems of FSBO, made moves to protect us from those risks, and worked diligently with the seller to keep the deal moving forward. When it fell apart, he negotiated with the seller to make us whole in regards to the expenses we had incurred, picked up the pieces of our broken hearts, and helped us navigate moving forward through a market that was decidedly not friendly for buyers such as ourselves. He kept us grounded, made sure we saw houses that were reasonably within our reach to safeguard our tender hearts, diligently and pleasantly responded to all my texts, and talked us through all possible scenarios (buy, sell, dont sell, rent, etc). Ultimately he found us another home that actually fit our family better, was cheaper than the first house by over $100k, in a neighborhood we wanted, and helped us assemble a winning offer that stayed within our budget and maintained the inspection process. He also came to understand what would really work for usaEUR|that while we SAID we wanted a home that was turn-key, we actually would enjoy a home better that had good bones and some room for cosmetic improvements so we can make it our own. In my opinion, its this reading-between-the-lines that makes Tony stand out from other realtors. He listens closely to what you are saying, looks closely at what you are doing, and reads into the truth of the matter. He always has your best interests in mind and will fiercely represent you to get you the home that will make you happy. In this bananas market as possibly the worst candidates to buy a house ever, we put in a total of three offers and two were accepted which is absolutely insane. We were so very lucky to have him backing us through this process. And that is our experience from the buying endaEUR|I didnt even get to the selling part! He connected us with an expert in staging who went through our home to advise us of the best possible set up when it came to photos and showings. They both saw past the clutter caused by two small children, a puppy, and a cat, and helped us unearth the stunning jewel of a classic cape home underneath it all. We had poured a lot of time, energy, and love into renovating and updating our 150 year old home and were hoping in our heart of hearts that it would go to a young family that would appreciate its history and care for it as we did. When it came time to list, he found us a buyer off-market who was the perfect match for our home emotionally and financially. We ended up selling our no-equity house for over asking, netting exactly what we needed to break even and cover our costs for the new home. And I was thrilled that I didnt have to evacuate our entire family for a weekend because wow, that would have been a nightmare. The closing process for both homes was absolutely seamless. He worked tirelessly to make sure we knew what to expect, when to expect it, and what to do. He connected us with movers, contractors, painters, invisible fencers, lawyers, lenders, landscapers, stagers, inspectors, insurance agentsaEUR|basically if you need some sort of service for your home or life, TONY KNOWS SOMEBODY. And they are all just as charming as Tony himself. He even watched our pup in his office while we signed papers at the lawyer's office! I havent even mentioned yet that he is funny, charming, and just the right amount of sass. Tl;dr if I could give Tony 10 stars I would but alas, I am restricted to only five.

When my kids decided that I had to sell my condo in Westborough, MA, I wanted to use my close friend as the listing realtor because she is one of the top realtors in the area. Tony was able to assist my wife and I with the purchase of our home. We looked at a few different homes and made one offer which was accepted.
