There isn't a better agent in the country than Tony!It's impossible to imagine having a better experience! We can't even think of the smallest suggestion for improvement in any area for Tony and his great team! While Tony works hard to build solid relationships and delivers a magical personal touch that could take pages to describe, we will keep this short so people will read it. Below are the key components we feel makes working with Tony so rewarding. * CLIENT FIRST APPROACH - Tony spent the first 1-2 hours getting to know us personally so he could best match locations (travel times, community preferences, amenities, home styles, etc.) and then demonstrated he actually listened as he took us around to homes and communities that matched us and our needs. He is very friendly and professional so we knew we were in great hands in finding the right home for us. His genuine concern for people has made him more than a great business partner, he is now a true and valued friend! * MARKET KNOWLEDGE - Tony constantly demonstrated his knowledge of the real estate market giving us valuable input on future values based on school districts, business expansion, housing demand, resale factors, and location to amenities, shopping, activities, and traffic congestion. As buyers with financial and investment backgrounds we found him to be as in touch with business trends as we were. * HOME INTEGRITY - Tony knows homes. He instantly spotted potential problems with landscaping (water runoff) brick and foundation integrity, building materials value and workmanship on both exterior and interior of the home--often spotting things we overlooked in spite of our care and diligence. * TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP SPECIALIST - Tony was able to accurately estimate any costs for repairs or remodels we discussed-before we made any offer! This was invaluable in helping us structure an offer that wasn't a disadvantage to us because we estimated costs too low, or being immediately dismissed by the seller as a serious buyer with an excessively aggressive offer because we estimated costs too high. * HONEST - Tony's expertise mentioned above would be worthless without his absolute adherence to "honesty is the best policy." He is willing to address the hard issues with candid empathy for his clients. Having taken the time to really know who they are he is able to intuit what is needed for their happiness and bring any concerns he has where his clients' decisions are not matching what he understand they really want. He isn't motivated by making the sale, but by delivering the best results for his clients. *WINNING TEAM - Tony has not only recruited the best team within his Allen Tate Group (shout out to Lynn Beaulieu), but he has also expanded his network to include the best inspectors, remodeling teams, insurance agents and basically anything needed to care for your home. Knowing we can trust Tony to deliver the best makes it easy to trust the people he trusts. Moving in from out of town, this has been invaluable. We are so impressed by Tony that we continue to seek his advice and contacts on things outside real estate as we seek to build a network of trusted, reliable, and highly competent professionals in the Charlotte area.
We've known David personally for over 20 years, so when it came time to sell our home of 28 years, he was the first person we thought of.He went over the process with us, and outlined his marketing strategy. He lined up his photographer, and even had a scaled floorplan made to go in the printed materials.When we were going through the local comps, David suggested a listing price much higher than we had estimated. Since he is very familiar with our neighborhood, we went with it.The first day on the market, we had two written offers, both above asking price!David was also helpful in getting the items corrected from the inspection.Very pleased with the entire process!

David is fantastic to work with. He is extremely in tune with the Market, the neighborhoods and the values of each. David even knew who built the home I bought that was built 40 years ago. He was fantastic at negotiating a very ugly inspection outcome between the seller and I. I highly recommend him for his professionalism, responsiveness and knowledge. I will definitely use him again and refer him to everyone I know who is shopping in this market.
