What clients say about this agent....
I am not a big fan of the law firm that Ms McGee chose to close our transaction. Ms McGee and her XO were very helpful and good at communicating while working through our needs as long distance sellers.
Anne was great! She was on top of everything. Would highly recommend her to handle your real estate transactions.
HUGE disappointment. When we originally listed, it did not include back lots as we wanted to sell them separate, and it was listed for $55,000 more then last list price. The new owner, which we have met several times and became acquainted with, stated that they called Anne when the property was listed and asked her to show it to them. She promised to get back with them but never did so they called another agent to look at it. We had left two keys, one for the house and one for ALL out buildings so that people could see them. Apparently this was not relayed to showing agents because when they toured the home the first time, they said they could only look in windows of garage and shed, and could not see in barn at all. They opted for another house that ended up getting pulled so they came back again to ours. When the inspecter came they met him at the house and we showed them around again and talked to them at length. When the husband saw the barn, he was floored at how nice it was and stated that if somebody had shown that to him before he would have made an offer on the same day. This was upsetting because it was listed for more and did NOT include the extra lots (listed for $35000) at that time and if he had been shown the home properly, it would have been sold 4 months earlier, for more money (even if we had negotiated, it would have been more) and we could have retained the lots to sell separately. So between the lots and the price change we lost a minimum of $35000 worth of lots and estimated another $25000 or more on the house, since we would have been negotiating from a higher price. (even if they offered a low price, we would have ended up somewhere in the middle I am sure.) Anne was always SO BUSY sellng so many homes (except ours which she did not seem to have an interest in) so at times we could not reach her at all. We mostly talked to staff. She was so busy that she did NOT show our house even ONE time! We did what she asked us to in order to make it more sellable but she did not bring a single buyer through, not even the one that called for a showing and eventually bought it with another realtor. So basically she lost commission by not showing it to the buyer when asked, plus she cost us literally thousands of dollars in lost $ due to that, and thus we ended up lowering price to under $400,000 per her suggestion. This would not have been necessary if she had done her job properly. We asked her to list because her stats showed she had sold so many houses! We felt that she showed little interested in selling our house. I would NOT recommend her at all. Her ad was dull, she didn't show the house at all, she has poor attention to detail and relaying info in our opinion. Due to this, it cost us thousands of dollars, plus it took much longer to sell. If she had just shown the house when asked in the beginning, we would have had it sold much faster and for more. I cannot express enough what a disappointing experience this was for us. Proceed with caution.
Great to work with!
Anne was recommended to us and she made the entire process relatively painless. Discussed a starting price that we were both comfortable with and then made necessary adjustments as needed. Once there was a contract on the property, Anne made sure that all steps were taken to meet the deadlines in place. My one reservation is the promptness in responding to texts or calls. It would sometimes take a day to respond, but the response did eventually come. Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to reccommend her to someone needing help in her region.
Anne walked us through the buying a home that was a new build. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. This included getting an elevation certificate, that was difficult to get. She worked with our mortgage company and our home/flood insurance company. She helped us navigate working with the contractor, to get the home built and customized.
Anne drove us all over TN and was happy to do so! She was an absolute pleasure to work with and we appreciate all she did for us. She was the perfect balance between giving her opinion and letting us find our dream home. I would HIGHLY recommend her to my friends and family in a heart beat.
Was a very good experience, she and her team worked hard to help me achieve my goal for my property, would gladly recommend them to anyone! Really appreciate all they did!
Found her to be very knowledgeable of real estate in general and especially in the area where our house was located. Her knowledge of the real estate business was very helpful to us. She had points of contact for repairs of the house and came to our aid in many other issues as well. She always made herself available whenever we needed her. Pleasant and professional to work with as was the case with her office assistant as well. We are very satisfied with Ann and her working with us. Made things easy.
Anne is great. Knowledge, skill, energy, dependability, promptness, personality, etc., all rank at the top!! Her associate, Chesley, is awesome as well and keeps me updated on the status of all issues. Thank you very much for the awesome experience!!MD Abernathy Jr DDS
