Real estate is an ever changing business; one that requires constant learning and attention to the market place in order to be successful. I find these changes energizing and am continually motivated to stay on top of the tools available to successfully navigate the challenges of today's market and to meet the needs of my clients. I have been a realtor for 17 years and have experienced first- hand several different market conditions, each requiring different skills sets. This experience has resulted in an expertise that proves to be invaluable to my clients. I pride myself on creating a detailed marketing plan, skillful negotiating with a level head, thorough pricing analyses, market acumen and maintaining communication and follow-through to a successful closing. In addition, I have developed many resources and contacts over the years throughout the Kansas City area that I make available to my clients for help with every step of the home buying and selling process and that they can call on for a variety of needs during their home ownership. All of this being said, none of it matters if you lose sight of the specific needs of your clients. In my opinion, LISTENING is perhaps the most important skill of all. Once you know what your client's wants and needs are, then you can put a plan in place to bring these desires to fruition. At the end of the day, realtors are problem solvers, advisors and business partners, helping their clients navigate through one of the most important transitions in their lives. I personally found this out when I bought my first house. It proved to be a very empowering and invigorating, yet scary experience as a first time home buyer, especially since I was doing it on my own. My decision to buy a house proved to be one of the most important decisions I ever made and one that changed the course of my life forever. I ended up meeting the young man that lived across the street, got married a year later and now we have two daughters and a wonderful life together. All of this happened 24 years ago as a result of buying a home. That is why I am a realtor.
