1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Don't purchase a car. Pay off your car loan, pay off your credit card debts. Don't miss your monthly payments.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
De-clutter your porch, your family room, your master bedroom, and all other rooms. Tuck all family photos away. Be minimalist. Expose the walls and the floors. Remove dirty curtains. Dust off furniture, and blinds. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Add curb appeal. Plant some flowers. Clean backyard and cut off excess branches.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
Buyer and sellers equally, home owners and investors.
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Recently helped a young adult purchase her first home. The transaction was a bit rocky due to seller being a contractor and did a lot of built-ins and upgrades to the house, which made the house very unique and one-of-a-kind, but the appraised value did not reflect how much was invested in those upgrades. With my negotiation skills I managed to keep the contract intact, and we were able to move forward and close escrow. Both seller and buyer were satisfied at the end. I am so proud of my client and wish her to build joyful memories in this house for many years to come.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was investing my own money to purchase rental properties in the down market. I purchased Auction properties, and other foreclosures. When the market flattened, auction properties diminished, and I could not buy for myself any more, I decided to get my real estate license to continue helping other as I helped myself. Now, I have the privilege and knowledge of being the buyer, the seller, the landlord, and investor.
6) Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Interior design/staging for sellers. Renovation training, which benefits buyers and seller. It also helps when clients need to flip homes.
