Buying a home in this market is akin to jumping out of the plane with no parachute. You have a split second to decide what your home for the next 30 years is going to look like, meanwhile the ground is getting closer and youre not sure you can afford to land at the speed your going (putting the mort in mortgage). Working with Andy is like having someone throw you a parachute before you jump, softening your landing and taking away some of the risks and fears you had jumping out in the first place. While working with Andy, we submitted close to 21 offers, had over 50 showings during a time in the pandemic where showings were appointment only and after 8 grueling months, finally won 1. Not once during the 21 offers we submitted did Andy ask us to put in a number we werent comfortable with, nor did he suggest we give up contingencies to win. There were a few times where waiving the inspection contingency would have won us the offer and Andy would have been done with this picky couple who wanted their cake and eat it too while the rest of the market was in a feeding frenzy, but Andy would not allow it. Inspection contingencies protect the buyer and Andy simply would not allow his clients to be burned. He called (not texted) each and every one of those agents, trying to find out what the sellers were looking for to figure out even the slightest in he could find us. He didnt give up, he stayed the course and we ended up with great home with inspection contingencies in tact. He has my utmost respect for that, the world of realtors where dishonesty gets you ahead of your competitors, Im happy to say that Andy is one of the few honest ones left in this market. If youre looking for a realtor to catch you when youre falling, making mistakes, being taken advantage of, then look no further.

Home buying can be (read: absolutely is) an incredibly stressful experience, and having Andy on our side definitely helped put us at ease to the home buying process, while we got to focus instead on where we wanted to start our family (and more importantly, what kind of backsplash would stay in style for at least another 10 years).It is wildly competitive out there right now and we got our deal closed in no small part thanks to Andys attentiveness to us as clients. Our home had fallen out of contract with another prospective buyer, and Andy dropped everything to make sure we were first in line to take their place. From there, he quarterbacked the deal, aligning some less than focused loan officers, appraisers, inspectors, etc. to make sure things kept chugging along, all the while also playing part time therapist/marriage counselor for a couple who were clearly a little in over their heads...Happy to say that we absolutely love our home, are still happily married, and now recommend to Andy any chance we get!
