I would give Andy Tucker 10 stars if I could.. his service and caring towards his clients is impeccable. I already recommended him to my friends and family. I found Andy while looking for a realtor is Outer Banks. I sent him a house that I liked, he asked me what I know about Outer Banks area. I told him nothing more than a tourist would know. He told me the house I was interested in wouldnt be a good investment given there is erosion in that area and there are no plans to restore it. He sent me some properties and I kept sending those I like from the website. Finally we finalized about 8 properties and set a weekend to view them. He had the earnings records for all of them, which helped me evaluate the return of investment. We finalized a proper that weekend and put out an offer within couple of days. He helped us find home inspector, valuator, mortgage company who has experience doing business there. Everything was a smooth sail and now we own a property at the beach :)

The Tuckers were fantastic in helping us narrow down from a huge list to the select few properties that could be perfect for our family and our needs/wants. Andy had the on hand knowledge to answer all of our questions from specific OBX, state, local, and environmental guidelines and the differences between them. For example, where to buy if you want your house standing on solid ground and not in the ocean based off how aggressive local towns are combating beach erosion. Even after closing we still maintain a good amount of communication and they gave us pointers on how to get maximum profit out of our house if we were to rent. All in all, I will for sure use the Tuckers the next time I buy an investment property because they know how to show the potential of a property and how to negotiate the terms with a seller better than I have ever experienced.

Andy sold our house in Corolla in 2010. It was a down market at that time but Andy was still able to get it sold for us. We found Andy to be very knowledgeable about the Outer Banks real estate market. He provided us with advice that turned out to be very accurate.
