What clients say about this agent....
Andrew helped us through the process of buying our first home! He was patient and thorough in explaining everything to us and he kept our best interests in mind during negotiations, inspection, and the appraisal! We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we would recommend Andrew to anyone!
Andrew helped me purchase my first home. It was a long process because that it was a short sale that involved a renovation loan. He was amazing through out the entire process. He was quick to respond. He helped set up appointments for multiple inspections and estimates. He explained the process each step of the way. Hes a great realtor but an even better person Ive know him for years and if you want to work with good trust worthy people hes your guy. I would use him again and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
Andrew helped my family and I tremendously! I highly recommend him. He is very passionate with his work and is willing to help you in every step of the way.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have met Andrew and Rachel to help guide me through this amazing process of becoming a first time homeowner. They were available every step of the way to guide me and answer every question that I had and needed.
Andrew was a fantastic realtor from start to finish. He was compassionate, attentive, patient and down right determined to help us find our family a home. No matter how many houses we wanted to tour or how many houses we got beat to the punch on, in this crazy market.Andrews demeanor stayed the same through out!I will be recommending my friends and family to Andrew any chance I get.
There aren't words to describe how amazing Andrew & the Szczerba Group truly are! Within days of contacting him telling him we needed his help with our journey of finding a new home he had met with us, had our wishlist, and had us signed up to get notified of live listings. Andrew asked questions about properties that we didn't ever think of- well water, septic, town or city taxes ect, things you don't know to even think about! Andrew answered our questions quickly and was informed on so many different aspects of buying a house. He also quickly made appointments and got us in to see all the houses we requested. The most amazing thing about working with Andrew was that in this crazy competitive market he knew how to help us make our offer stand out. His advice truly is the only reason we were able to beat out other offers! If you are looking for realtors that are passionate about what they do, not because they simply love real estate but because they truly want to find the perfect home for you and your family Andrew & Rachel of the Szczerba group are absolutely the realtors for you!
The number one thing with Andy is that there was never pressure throughout the process. It might be an exaggeration, but I feel like for the better part of a month we saw 6-7 houses per week. All throughout, Andy simply acted as a friendly advisor. He did his research ahead of time and arrived at each house with pertinent information to address any questions we had and if he didnt have the information, would say so and then reach out to the necessary third-party to gather the information. At each house, he was never forceful in his thoughts or opinions, always offering recommendations and suggestions. If we drove up to a house and didnt like the driveway, there was no aEURoeLets take a look inside, you might like itaEUR?. He would always reinforce his stance that as the buyers, it is what we want and if we dont like something, he is not in the business to try and convince us to like it. He would actually then take the next step to jot down our preferences, so that on future houses even if we selected something in the pet peeve bucket, he would state that the house falls in that category, but still offer it to us. Andy was great in a lot of ways, whether it be his professionalism, friendliness, or knowledge, but what stands out was his willingness to try and make the chaotic home buying/selling process as stress free as possible. He handled the documents an agent should, but on top of that he was willing and able to take on the burdens of the process being arranging inspections, attending the inspections, assisting in staging prep, etc. Andy was a comrade that was with us every step of the way.
We can stress enough how much we loved working with Andrew! But before telling you why, we feel like we need to tell you how we came to the conclusion that he should be our realtor...Ten years had passed since we moved out of our first home. Our first home was quite large...It, in fact, ended up being too much house, too far from work, and in a town we didnt really like. We learned a lot from that experience and we werent going to make those mistakes again. Our first mistake back then was having an agent who was not personally invested in us as people. She was pleasant and knowledgeable, but tended to treat us as the young buyers we were. When we needed her to stand up for us during the purchase, we were herded through the process and in the end, not satisfied. Fast forward 10 years and were in the market again for a home. This time, we interviewed potential agents (yes...WE interviewed them) to find out who is a good fit. This process is very common in large cities and for corporate properties But, we quickly found out that here in Wilmington, some residential agents were sort of offended at the idea of being interviewed. Some declined and one told us as much. However, Andrew gladly accepted the interview. During the interview he was professional yet personal. He stated that he valued his time and ours. As a result he would always do whatever we asked, but share the knowledge he had with us so that all of our decision would be informed. And that he did! Along the way he learned our likes and dislikes. He never pressured us to buy (we worked with him for about five months before we settled on a new home). He pointed out things at properties that could potentially need attention. He stuck by us when we needed him to do so. In the end, it all felt more like friends helping friends more than it felt like a business transaction. But, make no mistake...As it was a business transaction, Andrew handle his business and made sure we did, too! Closing was effortless and we really enjoy our home. If you feel like the process of buying or selling is daunting or you feel like you cant trust the aEUR~players in the real estate aEUR~game, Andrew and his team are EXACTLY the fit you want. Youre in good hands with them. If I had to buy or sell again, I would definitely reach out to him.
Andrew brought me to see 30 to 40 houses. He helped me make offers on three houses, including the one I ended up buying. He handed all the paperwork and communication with the seller. He. Ever tried to push me into buying a house, and even brought to my attention reasons why some of the houses we saw were not right for me.
Andrew was an incredible he was responsive, knowledgeable, and considerate. He was especially great to have as first time home buyers that were new to the process. I cannot recommend him enough.
