Andrew is an awesome realtor. We recently purchased a home with Andrew's help and every single time we viewed a home we felt extremely confident knowing that Andrew's experience, knowledge, and professionalism would help guide us in the right direction. We were quite picky in evaluating what homes we were interested in and at no point did we feel any pressure whatsoever from Andrew. He knows the Seattle and surrounding area extremely well and could point out things in homes we never would have considered without his knowledge. I highly recommend Andrew without the slightest reservation. As a professional (and a service provider) myself, I know first-hand what it is like to work day in and day out to look out for clients' interest and meet and exceed their expectations. For the sale of my home, Andrew was my listing agent and he went out of his way to get issues resolved quickly to ensure a success close. In hindsight, the issues I had faced were those of a principal (me as seller) and no agent needed to get his/her hands dirty. But Andrew did otherwise and we worked as a team to resolve them. In terms of his character/disposition, I don't mean to pass judgment but I have to say Andrew was dedicated, persistent and committed through the entire sale process. He is first class and there are qualities about him, which I found to be exceptional (e.g., very humble, detail oriented). During the entire journey we had together (I was out of the country), we've communicated extensively through e-mail (I count over a hundred of them over several months) and international phone calls (many of which involved me cold calling him during his earning morning or late night, Seattle time, due to time zone difference). He was always prompt and responsive. I don't write online reviews but I had to write this one because of all the great things Andrew did for me.

I have been lucky enough to work with Andrew twice now - once in the Fall of 2020 when he helped me find a home for my mom to purchase in Edmonds when she was moving to the area, and most recently, when my wife and I bought our first home this Spring. We worked with Andrew in 2014 to buy our home in Edmonds, so we reached out to him when we decided to sell it in 2021 since he did a great job for us buyers back then.Andrew did a great job selling our home in 2021. He helped us prioritize the important things to get fixed, found an exterior painting contractor (which was a huge challenge due to all of them being so busy). He also was good at setting our expectations on price and how long it would take to sell. He was always responsive and went "above and beyond" to help with the final cleaning just before closing, and getting rid of some overlooked items in the fridge and furniture the buyers did not want.

I can't say enough good things about my experience buying a home with Andrew Schein. What stands out the most is his honesty and integrity. He found the absolute perfect home for me, but before he did, I had my eye on another house. He went through the inspection report and then told me not to go for it. He had too many concerns after reading the report. I told my friends about this and they were shocked. They said their experience with realtors was they will sell anything they can ( no offense to realtors!) but Andrew was not like that at all. His background in architecture and construction puts him at the front of the line in my opinion. He knows exactly what to look for in terms of red flags. The home I got is perfect in every way and I could not have done this process without Andrew. I have not purchased a home in many years and he walked me, dare I say babysat me through the entire process which I so greatly appreciate. I will recommend him to friends and family in a heartbeat!

As a first-time buyer and an immigrant, I highly recommend Andrew as a buyers agent for the following reasons.- Andrew knows the greater Seattle area very well.Obviously he has been in the area for a long time. I vaguely remember he said he grew up in the area. He knows Seattle very well, which is crucial for immigrants like me. In the beginning of my search, my targets were not clear. I could not make up my mind about the area, and even the type of homes I should focus on. His knowledge about Seattle helped me narrow down my targets, and finally found the home I love.- Andrew is professional.As a first-time buyer, I have a lot of noob questions. He set up a video call and educated me the process of home buying. He tried his best to answer all my questions thoroughly with patience and care. He is never impatient even when I asked repetitive questions during the home tours. Andrew significantly alleviated my anxiousness to buy a house for the first time.- Andrew never pushes the clients to increase the offer.Everyone has different preference. An agent should never pushes the clients to make an offer just to get the commission. Unfortunately, we still hear or see agents like that from time to time. In contrast, Andrew wants the buyers to get the homes they really love. He even advised against making offers to houses that are not worth it. He advised something like: "this house is XXX at most", "I would not make an offer on this one", "This one would not be competitive", or "We should walk away from this one." (These are probably not his exact words.)- Andrew responds, quickly and professionally.In such a market, we often need to discuss and to make decisions quickly, which requires the communications between the buyers and the agents to be quick and clear. It sounds simple, but it is not easy and Andrew is good at it. Once I changed my mind and decided to make an offer to a home in less than 12 hours. Andrew still made it happened! I can make many more bullets, but you know what we mean. I highly recommend Andrew as a buyer's agent.
