About Andrew DePhillips

Andrew grew up in the building industry and worked with his father and brothers in the custom home building business. It wasn't long before he realized how fun work could be, and knew this industry was his calling. He was intrigued by the details and intricacies that make for successful real estate transactions, for both families and investors. A 1999 Dowling High School graduate, Andrew's studies took him from the Midwest to the Southwest and in 2004, he graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Business. When it was time to start a family, Andrew decided that moving back to Iowa, where family morals and values are at the heart, was a great decision. In 2011, Andrew founded Des Moines Home Source and began officially helping home buyers and sellers with real estate transactions. A proud member of the National Association of Realtors, the Iowa Association of Realtors and the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors, Andrew has quickly risen to the top as a realtor in the Des Moines area and within RE/MAX. In 2014, Andrew also became a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing(R) and is now part of an international network of real estate professionals who specialize in the luxury home market. He is an Accredited Buyer Representative, Residential Construction Certified, a Certified New Home Specialist and enjoys partnerships with multiple home builders. In 2015, Andrew started his own real estate team and has consistently lead The DePhillips Real Estate Group to the top of Des Moines metro statistics year after year. In addition, Andrew has been a Circle of Excellence Award Winner nine years in a row, part of the RE/MAX Chairman's Club for seven years and was awarded the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017. Today, you'll find Andrew spending most of his spare time at home in Waukee with his wife, Gina, and two boys, Dylan and Caleb. Andrew enjoys coaching and watching his two sons' many sporting events, golfing, manicuring his lawn, and getting in CrossFit workouts every morning before work.

We moved to Iowa from out of town and the process was so smooth, thanks to Nathan. He was open minded, easy to contact, honest and hard working. He had a baby on the way during our process, then a newborn and STILL went out of his way for us. He did many virtual tours all over the city and bent over backwards to make our transition as easy as possible. He recommended spots to eat, play and get all of the help we would need. I can not say enough about our experience with Chrissi and her entire team! Chrissi helped us sell our current home and purchase a new home and navigate the ins and outs of acreage life as we moved from in-town living to a home with a view! She was so knowledgable about the current market and knew just where to price our home. We were super pleased with the offers we received and could never have made our home purchase without her help understanding all about septic systems, rural water and propane heat! And she never quits! She kept promoting our home and offering open houses during the busy back-to-school season and was with us every step of the way. Now, two months into our new home, she is STILL working with us to help insure our septic system that was installed is meeting expectations. The great thing about her team is they are always available, while she was enjoying some well deserved time off this Summer her partner stepped in to do an inspection with us on our new home and Kylie, her assistant was so helpful as well! The entire team is top notch. The video home tour they did of our home was so beautiful and professional, the social media presence is such a perk as well, but most importantly she works hard, understands your needs and is with you throughout the entire process. Our experience with Chrissi just doesn't compare to anything we have experienced before. You will be in extremely capable and caring hands with Chrissi and team!
