Amy Wood

Amy Wood was born and raised in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, and has never left. She comes from a background of twenty-four years in education in Danville City, as well as Halifax, and Pittsylvania County Schools. From her previous teaching experience, she brings a wide variety of unique skills and experiences to working with her real estate clients. Amy is a graduate of Chatham High School, Danville Community College, and Averett University. She also holds a Master's Degree in education from the University of Saint Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her career in education allowed her the ability to impart knowledge with patience and empathy in a way her students could understand. She is just as passionate about educating adults to confidently navigate the home purchasing and/or home selling process. She has the ability to connect and build relationships to determine how to best meet her clients' individual needs. She is a great communicator, has outstanding organizational skills, and has access to the best real estate resources in the area. Amy is married and lives in Chatham, Virginia, with her spouse, one son, and their beloved Boxer, Molly. She spends her free time at the soccer field with her son, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, or completing the latest home improvement project on her family's thirty acre homestead.
