As a naA?ve first-time homebuyer, I originally thought that the bulk of the buyers agents work was to show clients homes, but, after deciding to put an offer on the very first house I toured with her, I learned that the true value of a great agent like Amy is in her tireless efforts to ensure that the whole process runs smoothly and that her client is 100% comfortable every step of the way. From our very first meeting to closing, Amy always took time to explain every detail of the home buying process and answered all of my questions. She kept me well-informed throughout the process and shared great, detailed checklists to keep me on track with all deadlines. In a market where other buyers were still considering waiving inspections and appraisal clauses, which I was totally unwilling to do, Amy offered sage advice that made my offer competitive (and successful!) while ensuring that I was comfortable with all the terms and conditions. Later, during inspection negotiations, when the seller responded with an ultimatum that sounded to me like good reason to walk away from the deal, Amy assured me that, as the buyer, I was in full control of the situation, and, more importantly, she effectively negotiated on my behalf with the sellers agent to work out a compromise that all parties were ultimately satisfied with. When she learned just how concerned I was about getting the houses actively leaking roof repaired in time for winter, Amy took the initiative to make phone calls on my behalf to the HOA to try to expedite approvals before we even settled the deal. I did not even know we could do that before I owned the place! At the final walkthrough, when we discovered that the seller had left behind a lot of trash that needed to be cleared out before closing, Amy did not hesitate to get her go-to junk-removal guy ready on standby, just in case the seller was unable to work out their own solution in time to close. In fact, throughout the entire process, Amy was always prepared with recommendations for everyone I needed, from the obvious like lenders, attorneys, and inspectors, to the perhaps less obvious, like contractors to offer estimates on inspection-related repairs. Even after closing, Amy still keeps in touch and makes herself available for anything I might need, from locksmith recommendations to checking in a month after closing to make sure everything got resolved with getting my leaky roof replaced. I am so happy that I chose Amy as my realtor, and I HIGHLY recommend her!

She is very friendly, professional and knowledgable about the Montgomery area, having lived there for many years. She explained the selling process in detail as well as the buying process, the current state of the market as well as past trends. She uses a lot of information to determine the selling price of your house. She introduced us to a stager, a lawyer, and provided names of contractors as required. She stager did a fantastic job! Amy also provided some great tips to help sell our house. Before going on the market, she arranged for a photo shoot and a video shoot, producing an awesome 3D rendition of the house! Amy knows the market and recommended we bump up our listing date to take advantage of it. Although that was very stressful, we did benefit in the end.
