I was searching for homes in Butte on Zillow not knowing how the system worked and clicked "contact agent" thinking it would take me to the listing agent of the property I was viewing - but it didn't. I got a call from Amy asking how she could help me, but I got flustered since the property was listed by a male realtor. She politely explained how the Zillow system worked and didn't pressure me to sign up with her as my realtor. After a couple more days of searching online I decided to call her back and the rest is history! I am an out of state buyer and she made numerous short videos of EVERY house I inquired about with zero hesitation. As she soon found out, this was my first experience buying out of state, so I ask many, many, many questions. Every time we spoke or texted, her explanations were detailed and spot on. I was so impressed that I took a road trip to Butte to meet in person and see some of the properties she sent me videos of. From the beginning Amy mentioned a "cute little house" that she was representing the seller and encouraged me to consider it for several reasons. While I really liked it, others caught my eye, and we eventually made a bid on one that was a bit above my budget. Even though I made a low ball offer she gladly went along with my request and submitted it - but we didn't get it. On my very long drive home I started to revisit my strategy and ultimately decided to make an offer on the "cute little house" - and we got it! I'm convinced she knew what was best for me from the get-go and it just took a little while for me to realize that. Amy held my hand through the entire process with a smile on her face and confidence in her voice. At no point during the buying process (from offer through close of escrow) did I feel like she wasn't there for me. Lots of people claim that they love what they do for work, but I know from first-hand experience that Amy truly does.
