Amelie and her husband, Scott, live in the Concordia Neighborhood in NE Portland. They are only the second owners of their 1940 built home and have enjoyed (for the most part!) slowly updating it. When they aren't out and about in Portland or Vancouver, they can be found relaxing in their back yard with their Goldendoodle, Jo. And usually a few neighbors too! Amelie is proud alumni of LaSalle High School and Seattle University. She played volleyball at both and has over 10 years of coaching experience. Now she plays regularly in the Portland City League. From the moment my wife and I met Amelie, we immediately felt confident that she had our best interest in sight and she would do whatever was needed to get our house sold for a top end price. After touring our house, Amelie came back with a plan and made a few minor suggestions/improvements for us to do prior to going active. After the first weekend of being active, Amelie brought us back 2 competitive offers, and successfully negotiated with both potential buyers receiving an over asking price deal within our tight timeline. Amelie made the process of home buying unbelievably stress free, and gave incredible guidance throughout that was specific to our home buying goals. She quickly got to what we were looking for and what would be a good fit for us (maybe quicker than we did!) and was laser focused on getting us to those houses that did, while cutting through the noise that could easily be overwhelming. I never felt like she was pushing her taste or agenda; instead, she was empathetic and driven to get us into a house we specifically would love. When it came time to offer, she was strategic and supportive, and helped us craft an offer that would win us the house. In repair negotiations, Amelie killed it -- she majorly over delivered while not even breaking a sweat. It was amazing having complete faith that we would be getting the best possible deal, and that we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. TLDR: Amelie is smart, empathetic, and laser focused on getting you a house you love under the best possible conditions, while making sure you don't have to worry about anything. Also, she's a blast to go house hunting with!
