Alonya Buford

Alonya Buford was born and raised in Oakland and has extensive knowledge of Oakland and the East Bay. Her appreciation of real estate began as a little girl with her going to work with her father, who is a retired land surveyor. This early introduction to real estate and land development peeked her interest in the business. Her passion for people, unparalleled commitment to serving others and desire to always lead with integrity fuels her love of this business. Her corporate experience includes working for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Verizon Wireless and Kaiser Permanente, where she held positions in Corporate Real Estate and Capital Projects. Her experience in these positions gave her in depth knowledge of budgets, schedules and negotiations. This experience coupled with her personal passion for business has propelled her real estate career, as she is able to give clients realistic expectations of the market. She studied at California State University, Sacramento receiving her Bachelor's Degree, Spring 2006 in Business Administration, with a Minor in Real Estate and Land Use. Additionally, she completed a Certification in Project Management from the UC Berkeley Extension. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, serving on the greeter's ministry at church, traveling as well as entertaining. She prides herself on quality and excellence. When listing a property, with the support of her clients, she promises to put the best product on the market; one that showcases the properties highest and best use as well as value. As a buyer agent, she promises to listen, be patient and to identify the best product on the market for the client. She has loved real estate since she was a child and is proud to serve her hometown and surrounding areas.
