This year we made the biggest change of our lives. We didn?t see it coming, but life has a way of throwing curveballs. Quite frankly, I?m not sure we could have done it without Alisa Johnson and her team. Just two and a half years ago my husband and I bought and began the remodel on what we thought would be our perfect forever house. We put our hearts, souls, and our wallet into our dream. Just about the time we finished the last touches, two crazy years later, we were hit with the hard realization that we belonged across the country. I cried the day we signed the listing papers (and probably several times after). Alisa and I had gone to high school together and, between moves and life turns, lost touch over the years. However, I knew Alisa had the integrity and character I wanted in someone selling my home. In fact, having worked in real estate myself for over 20 years, there was no one else I trusted as much to ensure the sale was handled professionally and correctly. A good agent is more than just someone who takes pictures and pushes paper around. They are your support system and ally. I also knew she had the strength and fortitude to help me see the light at the end. What I didn?t know, was that she would exceed every expectation. Alisa has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill. She listed our house with some of the best marketing material I?ve ever seen, stacked showings from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for three solid days, and brought in 14 amazing offers. She then negotiated terms that helped us with timing and moving hurdles and facilitated an incredibly smooth escrow. She sold our house for $65,000 over asking and did it all quickly, while carrying me through my zillion questions and heartache. Today I?m sitting 2500 miles away in my new home, with more certainty than ever that this was the right path for us, thrilled beyond belief with something I wasn?t sure I could do. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Alisa and her team for being the best ally in real estate.
