About Alexis Davis

I've lived in many towns and cities across the US prior to landing in Beaufort County, North Carolina in 2012. I moved with my husband and daughters from the Chicago area, where I owned and operated several successful businesses as an award-winning chef, wedding cake designer and restaurant prior to embarking on her career in real estate here. I began my career with Century 21 in 2013 and found immediate success, achieving awards in sales and quality service from the beginning, and was fortunate to have six more award-winning years with C-21, gaining recognition both locally as "Favorite Real Estate Agent" in the Washington Daily News Readers Choice Poll in 2018 and 2019, and with Century 21 nationally, for award-winning sales and quality service, among others. I am active in the community as a volunteer, advocating particularly for animals and children, and in support of the arts. I have served on several local boards including as a founding board member and two-term secretary of the Board of Director for The Pamlico Rose Institute, and currently with WHA's Neighborhood Revitalization Program. I enjoy life on the Pamlico with my husband Kirk and our numerous rescue pets, and love travel, fitness, fine dining, and cooking. Alexis Davis provided spot on advice regarding what I should, or should not, do to prepare my house for showing. She is energetic and promptly responded to my questions and concerns. We were dealing with a market that was slow to rebound from the recession, so we encountered frustrations. Nevertheless, Alexis persevered and advised me through some challenging moments. She really went to bat for me during some difficult negotiations. She advocated for my interests, and I never felt like I was in it alone. In the end, the market headed up, and we received multiple offers, including one above the listing price.
