I walked into a job I had been at for 7 years and was told my position was being dissolved. I had just signed a contract on a house the previous week--I had no job lined up and no idea what field to pursue. Luckily the Tyler Family quickly took me in and created a marketing position for me in early 2018. By Spring 2108, I began training in the Appraisal department. For those unfamiliar, an appraisal is a KEY part of the home buying process when purchasing with a bank or mortgage company. A home appraisal is an objective estimate by a certified real estate appraiser of fair market value of a home's worth. All lenders order an appraisal during the mortgage loan process to ensure the home is worth the value of the loan. I continue working as an assistant appraiser and am currently working to further my appraisal education to obtain Virginia licensure. I entered the sales side of real estate in January 2019. My appraisal experience have lent me valuable knowledge in understanding the market--particularly estimating a homes value! I enjoy learning the many facets of Real Estate and continue to study and learn the industry to best serve my clients. Understanding and adapting to the ever changing Real Estate Market is key to delivering the best service for my clients. Outside of Real Estate, I own Hartman Graphics and Print, a Screen printing and embroidery business. I continue to build my business on client referrals. I am never too busy to help your friends and family with any of their real estate needs. Working by referral allows me to deliver a client based service where each client is more than a transaction. Buying a home is one of the most expensive purchases in your life, and I am dedicated to guide each client through the process.
