Then make a list of your top 5-10 things that are important with the house you buy and share these details with your real estate professional so they can best assist. Working with a Realtor costs you nothing. They will guide you through the process and negotiate on your behalf.

Get your home in as move in ready condition as possible. Fix anything that you know is broken. Getting your home inspected before it's put on the market can also help.
