My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Adam Walker as our real estate agent when we were planning to move to Austin. From the very beginning, Adam was extremely knowledgeable about the local market, and demonstrated a deep understanding of the hidden costs and problems that can arise in the area (especially southern and central Austin). His expertise and insights were invaluable to us, even though in the end, we decided not to move for the time-being. Over the course of three weeks, Adam showed us dozens of homes, and he was always prepared with small anecdotes and interesting stories about the local history and businesses. He was able to provide us with insights and information that we would not have been able to find on our own. In addition to his local knowledge, Adam was also able to identify potential problems with homes and neighborhoods. For example, he pointed out that the garages in a particular neighborhood were longer than usual and, due to their layout, could be changed turned into a utility room or pantry. He understood what made homes energy efficient, prone to flooding, etc. His attention to detail and his ability to identify potential issues would certainly have saved us time and money. This is the second time we've worked with Adam and his team. I'd highly suggest it to anyone looking to make moves in Austin. This go around we sold and bought a new build.
