Abby Umlauf

"Our clients are clients for life!" Abby Umlauf is the consummate connector. As a real estate agent, she is focused on creating value for clients looking to sell or buy their homes by building personal relationships, providing industry expertise and insight, and delivering quality service. Abby was born and raised in Winston-Salem in a real estate family. From an early age she began to understand this city and its surrounding areas through the lens of one of its most powerful assets - its homes and neighborhoods. After years of building deep roots in the community and living in many parts of the city, Abby found herself providing real estate advice informally to friends and colleagues on a near daily basis. In 2013, she decided to give it her full time attention and became a real estate agent. Being a natural connector, Abby's market expertise and deep involvement in many facets of the city allowed her to quickly move to the forefront of the real estate industry and into the top 3% of agent production in the Triad. Abby is married to a local lawyer and has two young children adopted from Ethiopia. She is active in her church, Salem Presbyterian, and at Arts Based School, where her children attend first grade. She lives in the Holly Avenue district downtown in a beautiful old home that is a Forsyth Historic landmark house and listed on the National Historic Registry. Abby enjoys walking to local restaurants, parks, and events with her family. ABOUT THE TEAM: In Fall 2016, Abby officially launched The Umlauf Group in order to provide clients with continued high quality of service, market expertise, and responsiveness. The responsibilities of a real estate agent cast a wide net and require a broad array of skills. Because we take client care and satisfaction so seriously, we have chosen to build a small, close-knit team of specialists with expertise in each area of the real estate venture. Under Abby's leadership, our well-organized team works to ensure that our clients receive the best expertise, timely communication, and focused attention that often felt limiting under the single-agent model. We have found that as a team, we can deliver clients more access and resources by providing a larger "bank" of real estate "know how" and experience from which to draw. It's a win-win for everyone!
