When I moved to GA from Ca, in December of 2021, my loan officer suggested a realtor for me, which after a few months I realized she was horrible! I told my daughter about my realtor and how upset I was with her, and I was going to stop looking for a home. My daughter told me to talk with the realtor her and her husband used, Lucia Altamirano. So, I figured why not, I called Lucia, this was in March and explained to her my situation with my realtor and what I am looking for. After our conversation, I contacted my other realtor and told her I don't need her services any longer. Lucia asked if I have already been pre-qualified, I said yes, she asked who my lender was and got a copy of the letter and all the details of the loan. Lucia called me the next day and told me my mortgage company is charging a higher than usual interest rate, she told me who to call so I could get a lower interest rate, so I did and now my rate is low (where it should have been). We haven't even looked at a home yet lol. Lucia went to work helping me find what I was looking for. I travel a lot, so my daughter was helping look as well. My daughter would send me home listings and if I was interested, I would send them to Lucia. The same day I sent the home list to Lucia, she called my daughter and said let's go now, I didn't have to wait for a response 3 days later, like my last realtor. Lucia did this a number of times when I found a place I liked. I did find a home I liked, so Lucia did her comps and told me what she thought would be an honest bid. We placed the bid but someone over bided us. The next home I liked happened to be an open house and it was booked up, Lucia did not take no for an answer, she got my daughter a showing that day. Once again Lucia did her comps and told me what she thought, so I placed my offer. There were a few other offers, Lucia called and told me I could raise my offer if I wanted however Lucia said she knows that home won't appraise for more, I did not offer any more money. When the appraisal came back, the house appraised for exactly what she said it would. Lucia also went out and searched for the best homeowner insurance company for me and the best home inspector. Lucia always kept me in the loop with everything that went on. I want everyone who reads this to know that if you become one of Lucia clients, you will have the best there is! Lucia is very dedicated, works hard and long hours for her clients. Lucia is very honest and straight forward, she will not sugar coat anything, if it's not right she will say something and make it right.She deserves more than 5 Stars!
