6% Is average. It can be negotiated but not all companies will.

It is usually 6%. You can negotiate it. I personally do not go less than 6%. You interview realtors and find out the value they bring. Someone who isnt strong with negotiating their commission most likely cant negotiate the price of your home.

Commissions are always negotiable. Some brokerage groups also offer suites of services based on commission percent. I am with Mason on you get what you pay for. A good agent will provide value that is worth every penny of his/her commission.

Commission can be negotiated. Some agents will and some will not however most of the time you do get what you pay for. The best way to feel confident in the rate your agent is charging is by interviewing several agents to see what value they bring to the table and making the best choice for yourself.

Any commission can be negotiated, of course, and you generally get what you pay for. Most important is finding an agent that most aligns with your goals.

Commission is negotiable between sellers and brokerage. Keep in mind is not what brokers charge you, is what they can net you!! :)
