Should I have my house staged before contacting a realtor?

I would like to list my house for as much as possible, obviously. Should I have my house staged before contacting a realtor? Will I get a better list price?

Staging can definitely help to make home show better, attract more interest, and help to get a strong price. I would recommend connecting with a realtor first. The realtor can advise on what kind of staging is going to be best, give you recommendations on staging companies if desired and depending on your specific market whether or not staging is going to benefit you or how much staging will benefit you.

I’d suggest meeting with your realtor first. Often times they have a stager that they’d use and recommend or may even have some staging certifications and ideas themselves. I’m a huge advocate for staging! Makes all the difference in the world. But lean on your realtor for these contacts and connections. They usually have access to the best ones in the industry!

I would meet with an agent first. Often they have someone on their team that can help with staging. They will also give the best advice on what needs to be done or things that might be a wast of time or money. Overall, staging will definitely improve price and result in a faster sell!
