David Balfour Real Estate Agent

Buying a home today in Nashville, Murfreesboro and throughout middle TN can be a challenge! Rising rents, waves of incoming residents, and near-perfect local economic conditions have created historic demand for home purchases. Houses sell quickly! It is no easy task to keep up with it, especially while still trying to maintain your already busy life. Reduce your stress. Avoid the frustration. Choose a Realtor who holds the experience, education, resources and calming disposition which brings peace to your conflict; calm to your storm. While I am able to compete quite well in rankings and sales stats, I prefer highlighting the accomplishments of which I am most proud: * Tiffany & Courtney * Jim & Cheryl * Bill & Dottie * Kristen & Christina * Sierra * Courtney & Christina * & 500+ others since 2002 You can find an agent who sells more homes the I do. But I'm not sure you can find one who does it better. I look forward to adding your name to my proud list of accomplishments.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

ASK! Buying a home is a MASSIVE, LIFE CHANGING EVENT! It is ok to make certain you understand every aspect of the process. The right Realtor will be not only source of knowledge/experience for you, but also a tremendous resource to point you in the right direction for the items adjacent to, but not directly in the scope of the agents work.

2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Experience matters here! In our market, it is common to see multiple offers, bidding wars, and and similar processes. HINT**The highest offer is not always the best opportunity. Consult with a Realtor who can help you navigate the intricacies of what the offer really presents.

3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Buyers: 1st Time Buyers, Relocation (employer and non-employer involved), Referrals from agents all over the country, investors, move-up buyers Sellers: Upgrading, downsizing, relocation, distressed, investors.

4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

After nearly a year of searching for the perfect home, we finally got "mom & dad" settled. In that time, I ended up helping "daughter & son-in-law, and then "grandmother". They now all live within a few minutes of one another, and can finally focus on that, instead of the hustle bustle of their real estate transactions.

5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

As an alternative to moving my family to TX, I pursued my interest in real estate. Right away, I discovered what it feels like to truly love what I do. My motto from day 1 has been "people...not paychecks". By putting the priorities of my clients at the forefront, I have grown and thrived in my career. I can't believe I just hit the 15 year mark!

6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefits your clients?

My role as Principal Broker required well over 100 hours of specialized education. And serving in that role (since 2005) allows me to pull from the experiences of many agents, to enhance the service and advocacy of my own clients.
